I'm Back!

Not that anyone noticed my absence. I took a much needed break from spending an inordinate amount of time on the internet and commenting on the issues of the day. Southern California -- the climate and yes the culture -- nourishes me as much as Sacramento drains me.

Beyond the recall campaign here in sunny (and way too hot) Sacramento reaching the final stretch, I have been vexed -- vexed!-- by the St. Louis Rams, now 1-2 and grateful for a soft schedule.

Time to get back to business...
